Chief Justice or one of
Humbly sheweth -
that
Richard Mosdell petitioners late husband
died at Bay Roberts aforesaid on
the nineteenth day of July A.D. 1883
having first made published and
declared as and for his last will
and testament the paper writing hereto
annexed marked A - that at the
time of his decease he was (posessed)? of
propery of the probable value of twelve
hundred dollars consisting of dwelling
house outhouse and land fishing
schooner and money all within the
(jurisdiction)? of the Supreme Court.
That the said Richard Mosdell
left him surviving his said widow
and
Frances X Mosdell
Sworn before me
at Saint Johns
aforesaid this
39th day of A.D. 1884. I Richard Mosdell, Planter, of Bay Roberts, Con
ception Bay, in the Island of Newfoundland,
being of sound and disposing mind, memory and
understanding, do on this twenty sixth day of
April in the year of our lord, one thousand
eight hundred and eighy two, ina---this my
last will and testament.
I give to my wife Frances Mosdell, all my
property, consisting of dwelling house, out-houses and land, cleared and uncleared (-----)?
all the stock and implements thereon, to be
hers during her life time, with full power to
dispose of any part or parts of the said property or stock, if she should at any time need
it for her support, and at her death or re-marriage, I will then all the said property
I will further that the sum of money
now (-------)?(----)? in the Commercial Bank of
Newfoundland be the property of my wife Frances
Mosdell, to be hers and hers only, with full power
to use and dispose of it as she may (-----)? fit, save
and except the sum of Forty pounds (---), which I
>will to my two daughters Dorcas Parsons and Anna
Norman, and direct to be paid Twenty pounds to each
to them at my death
